Acupuncture, Reiki, and Other Complementary Therapies

Modern science may still be studying why such ancient therapies are so effective in treating today's illnesses, but one thing has been demonstrated repeatedly over thousands of years: they work! In my practice, I use both Japanese and Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies that complement each other. My acupuncture and Reiki sessions also incorporate specially formulated essential oil blends -- natural botanical essences that enhance the body's response to treatments.

Non-Needle  Style  Acupuncture

If  you  are  looking  for  acupuncture  for  your  child,  too  sensitive  to  needles  or   afraid  of  needles,  there’s  a  way  to  do  without  needles!

I  can  use  just  a  laser  pointer,  gem  stones  etc  to  activate  the  point/channels   to  make  it  work!    I  will  choose  which  tool  would  be  the  best  for  the  conditions by  finding  out  the  bio-feedback  from  the  body.      I  will  also  use  Reiki energy  to  make  it work  powerfully.

Japanese Style Acupuncture
Traditionally,  simply put, acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through the patient's skin at certain points on the body to regulate qi (vital energy), blood, yin (material of body) and yang (movement/heat) to keep it in balance. It originated in China and spread to Japan in the 6th century. Over time, Japanese acupuncture evolved into a slightly differently style of practice from that of the original Chinese -- one that's just as powerful but is experienced by many patients as more relaxing and more pain-free. Many credit Japanese acupuncture's more superficial insertions and less needle manipulations for its reputation as a gentler type of acupuncture.

By combining  acupuncture with Reiki energy healing, along with other complementary therapies, I am able to offer my patients a unique, dynamic experience.

Moxa (moxibustion)
Moxa is made of dried Chinese mugwort and is used as heat therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine. To help move qi in your body during acupuncture treatments, I may burn a small pinch of moxa and place it over your acupuncture points and/or channels. Many patients tell me they enjoy its rich incense-like scent and the warmth it generates throughout their body.

Reiki  霊気  (Universal Spiritual Energy -- Japanese Technique)
Reiki is another form of energy healing based on a philosophy similar to acupuncture. Instead of needles, Reiki practitioners use their hands to lightly touch the body or hover slightly above it. Reiki Masters (like myself) have extensive training in this method and are particularly sensitive to each body's unique energy pattern and are able to manipulate it in healing ways. I increase the effectiveness of acupuncture treatments by using Reiki following the insertion of the needles. During these sessions, patients often feel such deep relaxation, they fall asleep.

I also offer Reiki sessions by themselves without the use of acupuncture, and they are still very powerful. Patients regularly report that it helps reduce their physical and mental pain, decreases many illness symptoms, and strengthens their immune system.

Distance Healing (遠隔治療)

I am also able to use it for distance healing. It does not matter where you are, even if you are in Japan, China or any other countries, I can work on you.

I do this for my parents in Japan. It works beautifully.

Some people may feel some energy movements during the work, and other feels nothings at the moment but start feeling more changes in inside or/and the body later.   Everyone has different experiences because everyone has different healing journey.

CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE
Because I hold a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, I can also prescribe and formulate Chinese herbal medicine. These natural medicines work alone or in conjunction with other therapies for particularly dynamic holistic healing. They are beneficial in treating acute/chronic illness, promoting the immune system, and providing disease prevention with fewer or no side effects compared to many harsher Western medicines. One of the great advantages of Chinese herbal medicine is that it can be customized and formulated for each individual, for their unique physical or emotional condition and their energy pattern. I especially enjoy blending herbal medicines to meet the specific needs of my patients.
